Putting your Roomba on Automatic

I love my Roomba !!!
But the one feature that was missing for me was the ability for it to clean unattended like when I was at work or asleep.

If you need to put your Roomba on an Automatic Schedule for Cleaning? All Roomba models do not have anyway to start it to clean automatically without manually pressing a button to start it. I thought I would let you know it is now possible to put you Roomba on an unattended clean schedule with the Roomba Timer. You have the ability with this Roomba Timer to set any 3 start times during a 24 Hr period to start its cleaning cycle.

I bought the Roomba Timer 3 months ago and it works great. I set it to start cleaning at 2:00 am in the morning and I wake up to a clean house. I also have it start cleaning at 12:00 noon while I'm at work so I come home to a clean house.

This thing is amazing and hysterical to watch! My spouse said we could sell the TV and just watch roomba instead - it's that much fun (well the first few times that is). Being a bit obsessive compulsive I wasn't sure that I would actually trust the thing to clean. Well it DOES! It cleans a lot better than I expected and I would recommend it to anyone. It doesn't do the best job on carpet but then I have a lot of tile and wood floors so it does a super job on them. I would suggest buying the rapid charger and an extra battery because they don't last long.

I find this vacuum to be well worth the money. There's been no problems with my unit so far. I can't even begin to think how I kept the dog hair under control before I got this thing. It does a way better job than I ever did at finding the dirt and sucking up hair. Sometimes it gets stuck under really low furniture, but mostly it zooms under the beds and stuff to regions that I never even considered vacuuming. I would definitely buy it again.
Great product for allergy sufferers

We have had a roomba for six months now. My husband suffers from various allergies and used to sneeze constantly. we run the Roomba daily and his sneezing and running nose have almost completely dried up. We have hardwood floors and thought that we were keeping them clean - it is amazing what the Roomba picks up from "clean" floors. We strongly recommend getting the rapid recharger. The machine has worked great under daily use, no problems at all. We are buying a second one to keep upstairs.

Note to iRobot - why don't you make another model that we could use to clean up the dirt, dust, etc. in the garage?

I don't normally review things, although I buy a lot from Amazon, but this product deserves it so far. It's far better than I expected, able to to clean much better than I could expect, or even do myself. It cleans around chair legs, under the bed, along the walls, you name it. I was literally SHOCKED by how well it works.
I've read that some owners have had reliabilty issues so I hope it holds up... I've only had it a week now, but I'd highly recommend this thing.
